PROTEIN (MEAT & SEAFOOD)
Quantum Packaging can offer a wide range of high barrier packaging formats that will keep your protein foods such as raw/cooked meat, fish and seafood products fresh. This can include UV or anti-fog protection. Brand awareness is critical and our high quality reverse printed packaging keeps that in mind.
We have a wide range of lidding films that can be tailored to seal to a variety of substrates such as PET (APET, RPET, CPET), PE and PS. We can offer peel and reseal top web lidding for packets of cooked meat which allows up to 10 open/close cycles. This helps to seal in that freshness for much longer in a convenient easy-to-use format.
Our base webs are manufactured to complement our lidding films thereby providing a complete packaging solution. Our base webs offer outstanding deep draw performance with an optional barrier layer capable of providing a long shelf-life.
When packaging products that are on-the-bone, it is crucial that suitable packaging materials are used that are high in puncture resistance. Our flow wrap films and vacuum bags are designed with that in mind. Our flow wrap product range can be printed in flexo or gravure to create eye catching and realistic designs and our custom made bags can be styled to include perforated or laser scored openings.
We also manufacture forming films that can be used in combination with a sous vide cooking process. This means the raw product can be combined with sauce and spices and then cooked for a prolonged period, resulting in tender and flavour infused meats.

PRE-FORMED BAGS
Our pre-formed bags for meat and seafood offer crystal-clear presentation with a high gloss finish that contributes to an overall impression of premium, "heavy-weight" packaging. Leak free durability is ensured through material that has a broad temperature sealing range and better "seal through contamination" qualities. This creates stronger, more consistent seal integrity and avoids the weak seal spots that cause leaks.
Excellent hot tack strength helps to maintain higher packaging line speeds and reduces the number of seal failures and leaker's off-machine, throughout distribution and in-store. Laser scoring or perforation can be added if required.
